Flush bottom valves are fitted at the bottom of the tanks and vessels, and that’s the reason it also is known as tank bottom valve or bottom tank valve. It is used to empty, drain out the liquid, slurry or powder from the tanks or vessel fitted above it. To handle corrosive powder, semi sold fluids, viscous fluids and chemical, lined flush bottom ball valve is the best choice. It is compact in design and hence occupied less space. Like other IVE flush bottom valves, flush bottom ball valves to have a design which delivers Zero Liquid Hold Up in the valve body.
The material selection for fluorocarbons lining of valves will depend on working conditions like chemical and mechanical characteristics of the fluid flowing inside the pipe, valves, temperature, etc. ICON offers PTFE / FEP / PFA / PVDF lined flush bottom ball valves.
Unique Features of Lined Flush Bottom Ball Valve

- Lining offered PTFE / FEP / PFA / PVDF. The thickness of the lining is between 3.5 to 6 mm.

- Virgin PTFE, FEP, PFA to withstand temperature from -20 C to +240C.
- Tested as per API 598
- Valve outer body offered in In Stainless Steel 316 and mirror polished.
